I have given this aspect of my commercial work its own category because it holds a special place in my traveler’s heart. I find the atmosphere and energy surrounding these businesses a pleasure to work in. They are created to provide comfort, convenience, fun and adventure to travelers, usually in beautiful areas with beautiful amenities. Each has its own distinct personality and part of the attraction for me is the challenge of communicating that personality through imagery.
This group of images is divided into two categories. One focuses on Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Mo.; the other is a small sampling of other lodges, resorts and hotels.
