England:
An enigma

England, and London in particular, strike me as places that don't reveal themselves easily. There is an austere, reserved face on the historic sites that is presented to everyone and there is a wild, funky heartbeat throbbing inside that even a casual visitor can glimpse. But, to even begin to understand the complexities of the whole would take considerable time. In my few days here, I gleaned impressions and hints and intriguing invitations to explore, but another trip is definitely in order.
